The Standard Vehicle
Approval test ensures
that any vehicles being sold for the first time in the
UK are up to similar standard as "Type
approved vehicles".
The SVA test applies to almost all
vehicles and you can not
register in the
UK without an SVA
pass. The rules are complex and the, "Judgment" of the examiner
is often critical. We recommend you use our services rather than
trying to do this
yourself.
Intercep can collect your car from the port, convert the lighting
to SVA standard and make any other required changes to the
body and cabin, take your car for the SVA test and guarantee
a pass. The standard charge
for this is £497 inc. VAT.
Some vehicles cost a little more, please e-mail for a quote. This quote excludes collection from port (other than Liverpool) and
delivery outside the North West. This also includes 6 months road tax AND American size plates.
Also ask about our "Port To Plate" service which
includes MOT, Speedometer conversion and road tax and number
plates. This allows you to get your "on the road"
price.
